Our newest Milken Educator addresses the crowd with a heartfelt speech.
"I am very surprised and humbled," he said. "I thank my instructional assistants—they follow my lead and help me to be a better person. Our teachers here at Canalino are the most loving, caring and always put the students first."
He also praised Canalino school administrators who have "allowed me to take risks that have benefited the students" in developing new teaching strategies and techniques.
