As Amy composes her thoughts, Milken Family Foundation Chairman and Co-Founder Lowell Milken takes a moment to tell the audience that this is not a lifetime achievement award for Ms. Stanislowski. "We find educators who are early-to-mid career, who have already distinguished themselves in education,” Lowell tells them, then telling Amy, "we believe you have the potential to do even more."
