Michael Tapee, You're an Arkansas Milken Educator!

SPRINGDALE, ARKANSAS—Today's assembly had a huge surprise in store for one educator at Hellstern Middle School! Milken Educator Award Founder Lowell Milken launched the 2023-24 Milken Educator Awards, presenting math and computer science teacher Michael Tapee with the prestigious recognition, including a $25,000 financial prize he can use however he chooses. Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Department of Education Secretary Jacob Oliva joined Lowell Milken for the celebration. Today marks the milestone Awards season as we journey to the 3,000th Milken Educator!
