KY Milken Educators Welcome Shane Baker

Kentucky Interim Commissioner of Education Robin Fields Kinney is touring schools around her state to discuss Kentucky's United We Learn initiative. Today she's visiting Jennings Creek Elementary School along with Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman for an all-school assembly... but there's another unexpected reason for her visit, and it involves a huge surprise for one Jennings Creek teacher! Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, names third grade teacher Shane Baker the recipient of a 2023-24 Milken Educator Award, changing the teacher's career forever.
