Anna Katherine Davis, You're a Mississippi Milken Educator

Houston High School students and staff are welcoming special guests for today's assembly: Mississippi Interim State Superintendent of Education Dr. Raymond C. Morgigno and Chickasaw County School District Superintendent John Ellison. Little does everyone know, one more visitor is about to be introduced—and she's brought a big surprise for one Houston teacher! Stephanie Bishop, vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, surprises math teacher Anna Katherine Davis with a Mississippi 2023-24 Milken Educator Award and a huge check for $25,000, turning an ordinary day into one she will remember for the rest of her life. After today's exciting celebration, Davis is the 2,966th Milken Educator recognized on the journey to our 3,000th Milken Award announcement.
