Albert Her Many Horses Joins SD Milken Educators in Mission

South Dakota Secretary of Education Dr. Joseph Graves, U.S. Senator Mike Rounds and Rosebud Sioux Tribe President Scott Herman are here at Todd County Middle School for a special assembly about literacy. But there's another reason for their visit, and it involves a huge surprise for one outstanding educator! When Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, presents music and Lakota language teacher Albert Her Many Horses with a Milken Educator Award and $25,000, it turns into an unforgettable day that he never saw coming.
