Career-Changing Milken Award Surprises for Two Massachusetts Educators

MASSACHUSETTS — On October 20, 2023, the Milken Family Foundation surprised two Bay State educators with $25,000 Milken Educator Awards in front of students, colleagues, visiting dignitaries, veteran Milken Educators and media. Principal and Assistant Principal Andrew Rebello at Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School in Fall River and ELA teacher Shelley Terry at Plymouth High School received the "Oscar of Teaching" from MEA Senior Vice President Dr. Jane Foley, along with Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Commissioner Jeffrey C.
