Biographical Information

Sara Pralle teaches secondary-level social studies at CAL-Dows High School in Latimer, a small school that has received national recognition. Each year, Mrs. Pralle has her senior government students research and develop a comprehensive presentation on a government-related topic, sometimes traveling to other cities to collect information and interviews. She helps her economics students learn marketing skills and strategies by having them develop a complete marketing plan for their school, which is then critiqued by a professional ad agency. For the past seven years, Mrs. Pralle has served on the School Leadership Design Team, helping to craft and develop its evolving systemic staff development plan, "Connecting the Pieces."
